I'm Brenda — a creative branding soul from the Netherlands with a love for slow travel, scenic landscapes, cultural heritage, interior design, photography, yoga… well, basically all the beauty in life!
My mission — to craft meaningful brand stories through thoughtful strategy, intentional visuals, and digital experiences that guests feel connected to long before arrival. Think of me as your secret hideaway helping boutique hospitality brands turn browsing fans into happy guest arrivals.
My journey
After graduating in communication management, I set off on my first big adventure: working as a travel rep in sun-soaked Spain. Little did I know, that very first job would plant the seed for everything to come…
Fast-forward 25 years, and I’ve gathered a rich palette of experience in marketing, communication, and PR — across industries from real estate to government, and food to construction.
Over the years, I’ve followed many different paths — in work and in life. Yet no matter how far I wandered, I was always drawn back to the world of travel and hospitality, where I feel most inspired and alive.
I was always drawn to beautiful places and inspiring stories. Boutique hotels, in particular, have always captured my imagination — the thoughtful design, the curated details, the feeling of being at home while far away.
Add to that my love for yoga and mindfulness retreats — those transformative moments of clarity that change your inner landscape as much as your outer one.
One of the most powerful turning points in my life came during a yoga retreat on a volcanic Canary Island, where I experienced how space, stillness, and soulful connection can unlock clarity and personal transformation.
Later, a yoga and photography retreat in Sicily (again, volcanic magic!) helped me to reconnect with what truly lights me up: creativity, storytelling, beauty, and soulful experiences.
Gradually, the puzzle pieces began to fall into place. I started to see the world — and myself — through a different lens, and soon one thing became crystal clear: it was time to create my own business, something I had always been dreaming of.

Back to my roots
When I founded The Wild Palm Studio, it wasn’t just about launching a business in digital branding — it was about capturing a feeling. The essence of a place. The experience it offers. The transformation it brings.
It was also about doing work that’s more aligned with my personal values: freedom, creativity, wellbeing, and … a touch of adventure.
In a way, I’ve returned to where it all began…
Back to the travel world — only this time, not as the wide-eyed girl with a suitcase full of dreams, hopping between hotels with a clipboard and sunhat, but as an experienced, strategic, and creative branding partner — with a clear vision and heartfelt purpose.
Now, I feel so lucky to share this energy through my work — helping soulful hospitality brands connect with their ideal guests in a way that feels real, warm, and authentic.
